SMS Messaging Program — Express Written Consent Required

We only send SMS messages to patients who have explicitly opted in by checking an SMS consent checkbox at one of three places: the online appointment booking form, the practice contact form, or the patient portal Reminders settings. Providing your phone number alone does not constitute consent to receive text messages.

Program description

Patients of practices using ChiroFlow may receive transactional SMS text messages related to their appointments, including:

  • Appointment reminders at the lead times you choose (e.g., 24 hours before)
  • Appointment confirmations when you book or reschedule
  • Appointment cancellation notices

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. Messages are operationally triggered by your own scheduling activity at the practice.

How to opt in

Patients opt in to receive SMS messages by checking an unchecked consent checkbox presented at three places:

  1. On the online appointment booking form
  2. On the practice contact form
  3. In the patient portal under Reminders (after sign-in)

In all three cases, the checkbox is not pre-checked and requires an affirmative action. The on-page text reads (or similar):

I agree to receive SMS appointment reminders and care-related notifications from this practice. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. SMS consent is not required to book an appointment and is not shared with third parties.

SMS consent is not required to book an appointment or contact the practice — patients who decline SMS still receive email confirmations and email reminders.

How to opt out

Patients can opt out of SMS reminders at any time by either:

  • Replying STOP, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message — you will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and no further messages will be sent
  • Removing the SMS reminder in the patient portal
  • Removing your phone number from your patient profile

To re-enroll, reply START or UNSTOP to receive messages again, contact your practice, or re-add an SMS reminder in your patient portal.

Reply HELP or INFO to any message for help. For questions about your appointments, contact your practice directly. For questions about the SMS service itself, email sms@chiroflow.pro.

Message frequency

Frequency depends on the reminders you configure and the appointments you book. Typical patients receive 1–4 messages per month. Patients who configure no SMS reminders receive 0 messages.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard charges from your wireless carrier may apply for each message you receive. ChiroFlow does not charge you for SMS messages.

Carriers + delivery

Messages are sent through Amazon Web Services End User Messaging on a registered 10-digit long code (10DLC) under WellSpring Digital LLC's registered brand. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We are not responsible for message delivery failures due to carrier issues or incorrect phone numbers provided by the user. Delivery is not guaranteed.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your mobile information is used solely to communicate with you about your care. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
